Drugs Task Force – Drug and Alcohol Information Providers
There are 10 regional and 14 local Drugs Task Forces covering the Republic of Ireland. The Task Forces were developed to combat the threats from the problems posed by drug use throughout the country. Through the use of an area-based partnership approach between the statutory, voluntary & community sectors including public representatives.
Local Drugs Task Forces were set up in 1997 to develop a more effective response to the drug crisis that was devastating many communities.
If you are an immigrant from any ethnic minorities requiring counselling, information and help with drug and alcohol, please contact any of this organisation.
